NORWAY: ” THE BEST PLACE TO LIVE*”
YOU KNOW YOU’VE BEEN FULLY INTEGRATED WHEN…
- You think there is no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing
- You think cross-country skiing is the only “real” skiing
- You view it as healthy for your baby to sleep outside in their pram for 1-2 hours a day. Even in minus 10 degrees
- You associate warm rice porridge with Saturdays and Christmas Eve
- You believe that having only Norwegian products in a supermarket makes it easier to shop and a way of selecting quality goods
- You don’t question the fact that 80% of kids food intake is based on bread
- You know the difference between Blue and Red ski wax
- You associate Friday afternoon with a trip to the Vinmonopolet (The Wine Monopoly)
- You obsess over wool and would NEVER dress your child in cotton from October to May
- Wrapping your hotdog in a cold pancake makes total sense.

This was beautifully written and fab photos Louisa xx
Whether or not the UN is correct, you have one fervent believer over here at least! I love wool, what does wool obsession involve? Could I be part integrated from London? Thanks
Oooh and what is your rice porridge like?
Great photos!
Ha ha. Nå fikk jeg skikkelig hjemlengsel.
This could all go horribly wrong, but we love being adventurous.
