Every now and then I’d love to share with you one of my huge loves… Children’s Books. They speak to me, oh yes they do. The characters, the colours, the pen lines, the rhymes, the details and the media… It’s what inspired me to study Illustration. And some of them are just too good to keep to myself!).

You might have noticed we’re huge fans of the hilarious, fun and strongest girl in the world, Pippi Longstocking, around here?

This book is a classic, one that many Scandinavians have fond memories of growing up with. Pippi has an abundance of confidence, she’s quirky and fiercely independent, never afraid to stand up for those who need it, and let’s not forget her unique sense of fashion forward style – not a bad role model for kids really?
