Do you ever write little messages to your kids on their packed lunch bags? I certainly do (“you rock girl”, “stay strong”, “smiler”). Maybe to compensate for the lack of fun-filled, hand carved glitzy content? (with last years Norwegian online craze of making the most inspiring, creative lunch-packs and all).

If I buy my husband bananas I always write something on them (albeit a little rude) so when he has one he generally gets a little laugh, I started doing it because someone told me writing on a banana in biro is really nice to do..lol
